Camp Branch dock fishing report( 1 day late)

Got to the docks at Camp Branch about 7:00 Saturday morning. Waited for a while then another fisherman showed up, I asked if it would be okay if I fished until the man showed up and I could buy a daily dock pass. He thought I would be alright so headed down. Dropped to the bottom in first slip buy fish cleaning station, reeled up 2 cranks, jigged a bit nothing, held as steady as I could, Bump. Caught 5 shorts before sun up, payed the man at 8:00, never had another bite. Blue and chartruse,rootbeer and chartruse were the colors.

Those days certainly happen .. I've had my share lately. Hang in there though and thanks for the report. I always love any Smithville bank fishing reports.

Darn the luck, next time toss a penny in the water for teh fish, got to pay the piper,,, maby next time you will get em.
