    Default Goin to Lake Fork

I have a funeral to attend in Ft. Worth. was planning on going down a little later in the month and staying a little longer but sometimes things happen that changes our schedule.

While I am in the lone star state, I am going to hit Lake Fork one day. I will post how it turns out early next week.

I'll be dreaming of those 15-18" slabs with a limit of 25. Only bad thing is from Dec-Feb you HAVE to keep every crappie that comes into boat.
Give someone a fish and you feed them for a day; teach someone to fish and you feed them for life.
Matthew 5:19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."

Sorry your TX visit has to be for that reason, but hope those giant fish help the healing process.

    Safe travels to you, bud!

May be just what you need after a funeral. A little time on the lake. There are some huge bass and crappie in Fork. Best of luck.

Good luck on your trip. The lake is 7' low so be careful. The good thing about that is that the fish will be more concentrated. Plan on going to Fork myself in March.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you get to wet a line down there. I fished that lake many years ago. It has a lot of large green carp. You may want to take a heavy rod and give them a try also.
