Yeap some times and some days you just have to chock one up for the fish and mother nature.
So Darrell and I headed to table rock and fished the gin clear waters in and arround Cape Fair, a brisk breeze out of the north was a welcome sight a slight chop on the water never hurts crappie fishing in a bright sunshine.... checked out some brush piles in 25 to 35 ft.of water, lots of fish in and arround the brush, no bites ... moved to some bluffs and looked for fish and brush, found plenty of both,,, but the fish did not want to bite. well lets check the flats up arround bear den cove,,, found some brush and big lay down logs and lots of fish in and arround same, but the fish did not bite.
so we moved to some boat dock slips, reason being the wind had started to pick up, quite a bit I might add, white cappin and getting stronger,,, I look at Darrell and he was already putting up gear,,, to the ramp jeeves..... now dogs are fed, I got my feet up and the fish are safe one more day...

Sounds like a hard fought battle Michael. Way to get after it.
Fish like your hungry!
It sure looked nice out the window today. Glad you got out and enjoyed it for awhile.
Table Rock with high sky and cold wind no fun at all.
We'll have to hit up river. They should be tight to the stumps 'bout now.
If not there, Bridgeport should be giving up some real soon.
