Bobby Garlands are all you need. I like to use a 1/32nd head if I can get away with it. The bait you have the most confidence in, is the bait to fill your box with. I have a ton of hair jigs, feather, etc. that never get wet.

I use some of Stumphunter's hand tied jigs, southern pro hot grubs, better bites grubs, and Baitman's triple tail grubs on P-bug's sickle hook jigheads and LiteWireHooker's light wire hook jigheads.

I tie my own jigs and lately I have been making my own soft plastic baits.

For soft plastics I use Slab Bandits, Rocky Tops, and Lake Fork Tackle Baby Shad. Slab Bandits can be found here SLAB BANDITS WHOLESALE RETAILERS TYING SUPPLIES When I use hand tied jigs its always Jigum Jigs. IMO they cant be beat. His website is currently down but I can get you his number if you would like to try some out. I fish with soft plastics 75% of the time. I mainly fish for crappie in the warmer months which is when I like the plastic better. When the water is cooler I like the had tied Jigum Jigs better. If I had to pick 1 plastic and one hand tied it would easily be the Slab Bandits from Robert at crazyaanglertackle and Jigum Jigs from Mathew Carroll.
