Default Grand Arm with Bwillaub 12/18/2011

Met up with Bob at 630 this morning, fished upper Grand between Pretty Bob and Sparrowfoot, and enjoyed a really nice morning on the water. We caught 2 limits of really nice fish, and I got home in time for a little nap. Most fish were on blue and chartreuse "Bobbertail" baits, caught a few on John Deere green and chartreuse too. Best pattern back in the creeks was to fish the trees right on the channel edge. 10' down over 18' of water. Fish were fat and healthy, guess they been feeding up for winter. Will post pics from work tomorrow, this computer isn't playing along. Bob, thanks a bunch for letting me tag along. I sure enjoyed it and definitely learned a thing or two watching you outfish me from the front and back of the boat!

Way to go guys.Sounds like a good time was had with good company.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

I sure had a good time yesterday morning. Like Matt said, most fish came fishing blue/white Paddle Tails on an orange 1/8th oz jighead. The change of scenery sure was nice. It's good to see the main lake heating up again. The fish bowl gets old after a while. Hadn't made that run from Sparrowfoot to Hay Creek for quite a while. Sure am glad nobody moved the channel. Thanks for a Grand morning, Matt. Let's do it again soon.

These were the 15 best ones. The one in the middle was a porker, think Bob caught it right before we left.
