Still a nice day on the water. 14 isnt a bad day at all!!!
Hit ole' Smitty with a friend today. We found a few .. maybe 14 keepers between the two of us and nothing bigger than 11". We never could figure out a pattern .. they seemed very scattered. We'd catch 2 or 3 in one spot, then it would die. Tried sailboat cove, across from the W ramp, just south of the W bridge, the dam and several other spots. No hot spots and the only place that was completely dead was the dam. Black/chart seemed to work best and there wasn't a depth that worked consistently. I know it's not much help, but it's pretty rare that I can give a report, so I figured I'd pass it along. Might try some bank fishing tomorrow.

Wish I could've gotten out, but the Skeeter is fixed and ready at least. I'd like to go tomorrow, but have a Packer vs Queefs party at my place that I guess I gotta be here for!!!!!! Next week it's on!!! Go Pack Go!!!!
sound's like a good day! congrat's
why do today what you can put off til tomorrow, go fishing instead!!!
I can only echo what you said billd....I tried several spots...some the same as you, and found some fairly shallow, some really deep, but very scattered. Took home a good mess of fish, but most were in the 10 1/2 - 11" range with one 12.
there scattered on cb docks also.you'll catch 2 in a slip and have to move to the next slip catch 2 and so on.not many keepers.
Same here. brought about 12 home and had to fy em last nite. Around W bridge and coves south east of there. Minnows and a couple of colors of jigs. Probably 15 ft deep. Had agreat day for the middle of Dec. hoping to keep it up. Keep the reports coming!!
