Problem with Harney is a pavillion.
I know we discussed having the next slabfest at Monroe right? Well, I just wanted to know if Harney was a possbility...I've never fished that lake and I'm just a little curious about it. Speckanator and Huntinslabs probably know best on the area over yonder. Just throwing it out there for fun. I like Woodruff myself, even though the ramp is a little risky.

You could fish Harney then come to Monroe for the eats
Monroe for the cookout then let people fish Monroe or Harney. It would be interesting to see which lake gives up the best fishing.
THE BEST TIME TO FISH IS WHEN IT'S RAINING AND WHEN IT'S NOT RAINING
Im wondering what is the story with jessup???????aint it between Monroe & Harney......Dont really here too much chatter about it............

I believe you have raised a darn good question. I almost mentioned Jesup in my original post too. Seems like most of the St. John's lakes have done well this Fall.

I was telling Phantom that Harney would be a good place, but probably not till Jan or Feb. The river is so swift right now and if the lake were to be windy, there’ s not a lot of options in the river. Last year everybody was catching specs in Jan and Feb, even Minnowdrowner.
I’ve never been to Jessup, but when I got my bait Saturday, the guy at the bait store said that Jessup was hot and not much was coming from Harney.
Nice jab Rusty......Every dog gets a bone now & then........could'nt have done it wiyhout your help though........I still show off the pics from our great day last winter........

Where is this located?
I have been on Jessup a few times but found mostly very shallow water.
Guess it would be quite a bit higher now with the river being up.
