Sounds like a good way to spend a couple hours! Thanks for the report!
Got out for just a couple of hours today and did fair for the short time I was there. Tried the second brushpile in Sailboat for a while, but only caught one. I was mainly just trying to find it with my little handheld GPS, so I didn't spend a lot of time fishing it. Moved into one of the coves South of the W bridge and found a decent bite in 15-20 fow, down about 8-12'. Mostly used a 1/16th jig with black/chartreuse carrot. They mostly wanted it slow, but there were a few fish that took it on the initial drop. Caught maybe 10 legal fish....maybe 6 or 7 that I would have actually kept, but it was a C&R day for me. Water temp was about 45°.

Good Job Vic!!!
WTG, Vic...and thanks for the report. I'm thinkin of heading out tomorrow midday and perhaps fishing the same areas..
Good luck up there Joedog! If I could have rolled out of bed a little earlier, I would have gone up again today to beat the cold front.
