Hello to all Just want to say hey and thanks everyone for the info i have gleaned from all your posts over the last couple years. I gave up the saltwater game a few years ago and began pursuing the slabs again. It has been the most exciting fishing of my whole life. I have finally started to figure them out. The first winter I fished for specs (09) the water was at flood stage in all the rivers and lakes all winter I think I only caught a dozen or so all winter probably 15 trips. Then last year i had real good success 17 1/2 incher on the wall. This fall has started off great very low water here in nw fl. but the fish are chewing.
Saturday I limited (25) with a 17 and a 16 3/4. used my new bobby garland and curl tail hot grubs and they worked great.

Thanks for the invite would love to come down. The lakes you guys fish down in that area look awesome. I will def. come next year for a event. I am out of vacation time for this year.
