Hang in there. The week is not over yet.
Holy cow...it's Thursday and I haven't seen a single speck from Monroe. I guess the Speckanator is taking a break this week.

THE BEST TIME TO FISH IS WHEN IT'S RAINING AND WHEN IT'S NOT RAINING
Didn't want the attention, besides so much posting going on it was time consuming to read the board. Looks like we'll have a few generals real soon.
Went this morning with two fellas I use to work with, Fred and Dave, We had a great time with 35 keepers, throwing back 7 and loosing more than I want to count. Fred was having a hard time bringing them into net range and with three of us on my little boat it was one of those "hand me this" days. The wind was a little more than they predicted, but still fishable. I hope everyone else did as well. We need some reports on the harris chain. Let us know something shu and flycaster.
Ask and you shall recieve I reckon. Nice catch. Guesss them guys are some good luck charms.
Gonna try and battle that 13 mph wind and cold front in the morning! Nice catch!
I went out on Wed. morning with Spec Tater
On the water at about 7:00 AM off at 11:00 AM.
Spec Tater caught and released TWO. Both about 8 inches.
We tried everything except the dynamite.
As the Florida lakes are known as being shallow, using the fish finder your viewing range is very small. On occasions we spotted fish on the locator, but could not get them to hit. Problem with my fish finders is that do not tell you what species the fish are.
Decided to venture over to Monroe next Wed. Praying that the weather warms up, NO rain and LIGHT wind.
Talked to a local that went fishing yesterday, and where did he go??? to Monroe.
Who all will we see there at the Volusia County Park ramp???
Well I'll be darned...the Speckanator was sandbagging. I love it. Thanks for sharing. I actually have been enjoying the high traffic on the boards. It beats watching TV.
