11-5 11-8 Upper Grand

Had a great weekend on the upper Grand with half of team JJ ... Started off Saturday with a good limitThumbs Up (Lime/Chart) fishing with Just Jiggin. Jackie had Big fish of day/weekend with a 1# 10oz slabHands ClappingRan into 70ss496(matt) always fun to see other CDCers on the water. Sunday was not so good!! Had 11 in the well (lime/chart) when i broke my Trolling motor steering cable that ended the day pretty early!Doh Had Monday and Tuesday off, so wife went home Sunday evening and I had the house to myself Sunday evening to watch Smoke win at Texas!!!!Hands ClappingGot a new cable first thing Monday Morning and picked up my Uncle Wayne and off to the water we went! We both had another nice sack.. Mine were on Orange/ Chart , his was Silver flake/chart firetail.. went back this morning and Caught and released 10 and gave up and took my soaked rearend home! Had something pop in the foot control of my trolling motor and now it doesnt spin a full circle... will have to tear it apart again ....

Pretty simple to rebuild as long as the motor is good. Cheap too.
