Sweeeeeeeet!! You are an honest man! Ive caught a lot of big blues in my life and you could have gotten away with sayin that fish was over 50lbs. He looks bigger than the weight you gave. There was a cat tourney a few weeks ago in Cinci where 3 diff fellas had weights over 120lbs with 5 fish! 4 fish over 50lbs caught 16 boats entered. You release it??

I agree, nice one. Could easily pass for over 50#. Get him on skipjack or shad? Those big blues are fun when you get them in some current.

The public landing but the tourney you may be thinking of also brought some brutes. Guy by the name of willy won that 1 I think. That dude is the biggest goofey redneck but he has been winning cat tourneys all over the place!! He had a 50lb blue and one in the mid 40's. HIs winning weight that day was close to 120 i think.........

Thanks fella's. That ol blue barely even put up a fight. Early that same day we caught about 20 skippies and 1 skip that went 16" long. We cut him up and i got the head. Guess my pick of the cut bait was the right one. That was the biggest skippie i ever seen. Current was strong that night also. We had a bunch of big blues this year and a couple big flatties. That was the biggest of the summer though.

JGJ- The only time you taller then me and t-bone is when ya have ya boots on to look over us to see what were doin that you ain't, lol.

    Thanks again fella's.
