I mainly nightstalk and keep a journal writing down all my trips. We
almost never do as well with a full moon as we do at other times.
Usually the darker the better. If I had a chance to go I wouldnt stay
home just because of a full moon, I just wouldn't expect as many fish.

If you dont go your not going to catch anything :D .Go and have fun get there right before dark and get set up and you should do fine.
the moon is always "full" .... it's just illuminated +/- at different times. :D
Seriously though ..... GO !! If you think the light of the Full Moon will have a negative effect on the fishing ..... fish a "dark" bank ........ cp
you want know till you go.it beats sitting at home.

I saw a couple guys leaving the ramp right at dark as I was coming in this afternoon. As I was driving past the lake later I saw their lights or lanterns burning out on the lake.
I saw a lot of small shad flipping all around the banks so they may do well where I saw them set up at.
CATCH A BIG-UN
Fished the last full moon and had a great trip. Fish started biting when the moon rose to about 10 o'clock in the sky, and left them still biting 2 hours later. However, met another boat as I was pulling out who had fished since
3pm and they only caught 4 total. If you were to ask those guys, they would tell you that fishing a full moon is a waste of time. But I guess maybe that's why we call it fishing and not catching? Pack the boat and get on the water and enjoy the evening.
