I sure wish mother nature would give me a break with the wind. It was worse than 2 weeks ago. Wife actually got a touch of motion sickness. Anyway we launched at about 7:15 and were back in at 10:30 and ended with 16 of these
and a shot of em all in a bath of nice clean water
and in their Sunday finest
and all ready for the freezer

great job, some nice un's
Good job, way to tough it out. Your wife is a real trooper to stick it out. I wimped out tied up to a tree on the river and just relaxed. Watched a buck chase a doe around knee deep on a flooded island. The fish were in the woods caught some in 8" of water.
Thats what people need to understand, it is all about enjoying mother nature in all her glory not just catchin a limit. I enjoy watchin the wildlife on the river, and Sante Fe had me mesmerized with all the wood dock flights in and out the cypress. Those events are worth more than any limit. And yea my wife is a trooper, flounder gigs and shrimps all night with me, goes out hours before daylight walking the woods to get to roosted birds in turkey season, she is game for most of my hapless adventures.
GAWD ! ! ! ! !
Awesome, I gotta get over there ! ! !
Hopefully next Saturday ........

Had a sick child in the middle of the night or else I might of been fishing next to you Huntinslabs. I had the boat and poles ready to go last night. Man, I am bummed out. Excellent display of crappie fishin-love the before and after pics. I keep rubbing it in to my wife that there are some good fishing ladies out there...can't get her to go fishing for nothing.
