Best Fishfinder for a kayak?
Hello all,
I bought a sit-on-top kayak in February of 2011 and have used it pretty hard fishing so far. I was just curious as to what some fellow yak fisherman would think a good Fishfinder would be to mount onto my yak. I want something relatively cheap, effective, and waterproof.

I have an eagle 250 map/gps combo. Cheap and effective, but not too sensitive. It depends on your uses. I upgraded to a Hummer 788. I wanted more sensitivity. But also more money...

The best would be determined by your pockets and it's use.I have a humminbird 597ci di and for some it may be over kill then again It waaayyyy better than the eagle cuda I had.All depends on what you want uses you need it for.
