    Default Foggy Start

Made it out yesterday morning to the "Dead Sea" and man what a day it was. The fog rolled in right at first light and you could barely see the front of the boat. Thank goodness for electronics. The jig bite was good all morning. I meet two older guys on the lake and we chatted for a few minutes. They weren’t having much luck minnow fishing. I left and headed to the other side of the lake. Later, we meet again at the boat dock and ask how they did. Not much luck at all. I asked if they wanted mine and they were more than happy to take them off my hands. There were 20 keepers in all and it took 3 trips with their net. Check out the smiles on Ron and Don faces while putting some of the fish in their Ranger's live well :D. I pray when I'm their age that I can still get after a few.

Got to love those foggy mornings when you hope all the boats are moving slow! Sounds like you had a good morning on the lake and made a couple friends.Thumbs Up

Good day, you know those guys appreciated it. I guarantee they were talking about it on the ride home. How deep were your fish? Any big ones?

Good for you. Man it's gonna suck to get old and set in my ways. Turn my back on new ideas and new technology.

Good deal NP. We gotta take care of each other. How can we take home fish every time knowing others have none and we can go back soon and get more. You're a good man.
