Wife is gone, back on the water again! Put in at Sparrowfoot at 6:30 AM Only vehicle in parking lot--everyone scared of this area? Need to get the bugs out of boat and check out new HDS 8. Low water, watch the tracks. Fished around mouth of Big Otter Creek, lots of dinks using Jigs 10 FOW. Down further past power line round Hay Creek, more dinks 10-15 FOW. Finally, above U bridge started catching keepers in 6 FOW only under Cedar. Caught only dinks on hardwood. Wind kicked up pretty good, hard to fish and learn new locator--can't do both. Got 2 weeks vacation left for fall/winter fishing. Finished the day with half a limit, locator is smarter than me. Whitecaps from Deepwater to Sparrowfoot with North wind. LOL A Great day!!!!!!!!! Oops, posted to wrong thread. But... those are nice fish. Ralph on the left is not really holding it too far in front of him, more to the side so Sean could get his in there. Sean is way back in the boat so his fish is still about 2' back from Ralph's. I go by a man's hand compaired to the fish. Ralph's for example is about four hands.
