I use the egg sinkers but I'd like to try the snake in da bush.
I use regular old eggssinkers. Wondering if anyone uses discs weights, pyramids, Lindy no Slips, Snake in da Brush, the new Fin-Techs, or all the millions of other types when your slow trolling/ spidering? What do yall use?
I aint here to tell you anything. You want to know what Im doing....pm me and meet me on the lake.

THE BEST TIME TO FISH IS WHEN IT'S RAINING AND WHEN IT'S NOT RAINING
I use the old crimp-ons. But I'm new at this and know nothing. I'm going to watch this thread like a hawk because 90% of the time that I pick up lakeweed it's caught on the sinker, not the jig.
I'd also like to hear where you place your sinker. I've got mine about 18" in front of the jig.
While no expert myself, I thing you have the length right, but the split sinkers often abrade the line and can cause you to loose fish. The egg sinkers above a swivel should be safer. Also, if you are in the weeds it sounds like you are letting out too much line, you want the tackle a little above the fish as fish generally are looking up for food. Someone may correct me here, but I think this is good information.
