    Default Avery Bottoms

back again up above Avery bottoms, tons of shad and the fish are 1 to 3 ft down around trees that are close to the channell.very hard to get a hook in them, they just grab it and if you hold your pole still once in a while they get it in their mouths, took us 1/2 a day to get 2 limits.we caught alot of shorts and missed what seems like a couple of hundred other bites.fish are at the top picking off the shad as they go by and they arent working at it very hard.tried fishing deeper but not near the bites as top of the water column.water depth ranged 2ft to 15ft ,just as long as it's close to the old river channell.

It's the upper end of the Pomme de Terre arm on Truman Lake.Fairfeild is the closest ramp but you can put in off of B hwy to fr 6 ,follow to end, real tuff right now with the lake being low.not to bad at normal pool.
