Fished main lake brush piles the last two mornings and have done very well. Beds on main lake areas are better than beds deep in coves. Best bite has been 13-17ft and down in the brush. Been fishing a glow chart midsouth super jig on a 1/16oz plain sickle head. Catching very few fish suspended above the brush. Drop all the way down and slow retrieve up with a pause and a donk or two. Yes you will loose several jigs but thats the way that has been working for me. Nothing giant but the keeper ratio has been very good. Yesterday I had 15 keepers and only 4 shorts, today 15 keepers and 7 shorts. I will take that every time.

sounds like you got them figured out,man has to donate a jig or two just to keep the tackle companies in buisness
