    they've worked for me not sure any better than ball heads

    I sure like them when the water is dirty. I use a willow leaf blade on mine. Usually an 1/8 oz but have some 1/4 oz for when the wind is up. They are great in the spring if you like casting for spawning crappie. Here is a pic of some I painted. Not a very good pic but one is blaze orange and the other is Ruby Slipper which has a lot of metal flake in it.
