    Thumbs up My stockton report

12 crappie,no keeper walley.1 perch, 6 white bass, tossed them back. 2 line side bass, tossed them back.

started out up south of birch branch, up past the first bend. by the white bluff. started in 15 ft of water, black/chartruse slab busters, with green nibble. they hit it hard, darn near jerked the pole out of my hand, big ole black crappie, 13 in. then one 11 in. saw couple other boats, they were using minnows and doing verry good arround the mouth of soutee? cove, by the ole bridge arround point 9. well the weather man said 10 mph or less of wind, and he was right on like always first time I seen 10mph winds turn 3 foot swells, looked like sheep grazing, so I gave up on jigging and got out the trolling rods and worked the flat from birch branch to the first left turn west, and back.

caught 10 nice crappie trolling, and lost 3 close to the boat, cause of the wind rocking the boat so bad, ended up with 12 totat for the day, not bad

    line out 75ft
    color chartruse/pepper spots
    orange/black stripes

and pink. they love the pink color

A 10mph forecast everywhere else means 20mph on stockton. Way to fight it and catch a nice mess.
