Despite the nasty weather conditions we ended up with 22 teams this morning. So should have a good turn out for the fish fry this afternoon after the weigh in. I will post the results and some pics later.

Payouts will be the following plus a fried crappie dinner.
1st. $260
2nd. $150
3rd. $65
4th. $45
5th. $30.

1st big fish. $75.
2nd big fish. $35

Sounds like a good turn out, just finished mowing will be down a little after two with 104 filets the batter and a whole bunch of other stuff, dam I am getting hungry........hope all can limit out and weigh in some good ones.......

Going to be a good time this afternoon for sure. There is a handfull of teams that are new members and some of them are some of the best that Truman has. So this should be a great tournament with some big weights.

Looks like I'm going to be stuck at work. I had hoped that I could get away early enough to make it to the weigh in. Maybe next time. Sure glad there was a good turnout.

Great job again Jared on sign up and getting the board and payouts ready. We grew by 4 boats on this one, hope to get everyone out again in July.

Many thanks to Jared and Leonardo, your efforts are very much appreciated. Just an idea, any merit to a Newcomer Award for the highest finishing team that hasn't fished an event yet in 2011? From the normal entry fee hold back $2-3 dollars per entry per new team as a special recognition and bragging rights award. Lessens the payout just a fuzz for returning teams but if it grows the field the payoff comes in bigger boat counts. And after all this isn't just about the money. One more thing, know you guys made a special effort to get forum screen names this time, thank you very much.
