Default Gills and redear at KY lake.

Is it too late to catch some gills at KY lake and what about redear? Have never been down to fish for gills at KY Lake but if not too late i will be coming down next week.

They were still biting last weekend. I plan to give it another shot in the next couple of days. I still have room in the freezer and need a few more bags before moving on to white bass. We ate some of last year gills and bass last night......mmmm were they good. I made up some cocktail sauce with habanero hot sauce mixed in and it was very tastey.

You can always catch them. It's just a matter of finding them.

Yeah, it's very hot out right now, but you can still catch them if you can deal with the 95 degree heat.

Throw a dart at a map. You can find them just about everywhere.

My dart landed in the middle of LBL and I still managed about 50 gills.........
