fished green on the 6th

fished green on monday with a friend. Had 40 keepers and 2 catfish. 12 of the keepers were over 14". fished jigs tipped with minnows on the flats about 12' deep over 18 to 20' of water.

Fished Green today Caught 74 keepers ...20 over 14 " and 4 over 15 " ....all caught on pink jigheads tipped with a piece of nightcrawler just like me and daddy use to do....

yea that was us. had to go back to the dock and get some more minnows. the heat was rough on us and them.

i would like to see the rulers all yall use because out of about 2,000 crappie last year we only had 12 go 14 inches. And on top of that Ive fished 6 tourneys at green and won 2 and aint seen not one that anyone has caught at any of those tourneys over 14 1/4. im not saying they aint in there but come on people use a ruler not an eyeball. If yall can go out and catch 5 or 6 15 inchers we should see at least 2 or 3 caught in the tourneys and out of 2,000 dumb luck says i could catch at least 1....
