I'm living in El Reno and originally from N.E. OK. Looking for some good fishing papermouth holes around the city area I can get to by the bank or with my water scamp and trolling motor. Thanks

it is still early but start checking hefner dam in april and arcadia on any rocks or boat ramps mid to late april into may, watch overholser to they put alot of new brush in around the dock and it should really be a good spawning spot, but i don't know when.

It's a little far from El Reno but for years one of the better crappie spots has been the south side of Thunderbird. With a south wind you could put your scamp in and work the brushy areas on that side.
