Fishing in the rain

Got up sat. morning and the rain let up. my daughter had the day off from basspro so we went up to lake ontario and fished a bay, the rain started once we launched the boat. after she slipped and fell and dropped a $100.00 rod and reel in the lake we found the crappie and had a good time. We brought home 48 crappie and a couple gills. i was impressed the wife and daughter did not complain about the rain until the fishing slowed and the rain got a little harder about 6pm lol.

Glad you caught some fish even in the rain. This spring here (southwest NYS) has been alot of rain and cold. Took my boat out once and had to watch out for floating limbs and debris. Good luck.
