Nice tie, did you use 2 colors of foam or did you color it?
Been a while since I have used my flyrod so I thought I would tye a few flies and try the bream fishing while they are on beds. I tye a lot of jigs but only on larger heads. I have got a lot to learn about the small hook tying LOL got to find a place for my fingers to go!!
Thought I would start out on a #8 hook. I did have to put a little bend into this hook as it is a NW3 straight shank. I used gray bucktail for the wings and tail tip. I only had some 2mm foam so I glued two pieces together so I would have 4mm foam to work with. I should have used a little dubbing on my finishing thread wraps and will on the next ones I tye. I may have used to many strands of hair in the tail also?
I think it will catch some fish, here are a few pics.

I used yellow foam and after finishing, took a black sharpie to color the foam. The fly worked good this morning on gills. Once the sun topped the trees a white popper worked better.

Very nice tie !

Looks good, but the title is misleading. That looks more like a spinner than a dun, since duns have upright wings. Nice tie.
