    Default Finally

After months of scares and recovery,I finally got to LOZ the other day. The crappie were o then the banks and I was catching them in eight inches of water. I had to fish from the bank because I was by myself, but caught lots of fish. Most were black, and I mean black. ( no slur intended ). I never caught crappie that dark before and it sure felt good to feel the tug of fish again. Plan on going again Wednesday morning and give it another try. I know I have been absent for a while, but plan to make up for lost forum and fishing time. See you at the lake.

Those males sure get dark for the spawn. Congrats on the good fishing.
