    Got on the lake just in time to get drenched. Shoulda watched the radar before heading out. After watching the storm pass, hit the water again. The crappie didn't disappoint. Fished south of W bridge. Same pattern, jig fished 1 foot under a bobber. Females are starting to come into the banks, caught and released a bunch of decent females. Bite was steady the whole evening. Lots of short males caught tonight. God bless.

    Good to here from you again... I had the boat ready to go this morning changed our plans when the rain showed no sign of letting up. Looked and felt like a good morning to be fishing... until the temp dropped. Guess that didn't stop them from feeding. Plan to try again Monday... If there are any crappie left!

    Forgot to mention we fished in the evening. If we would have kept 9 inch fish and females we would have limited in less than 30 minutes. Too quick, wanted to fish longer than that. LOL. Good to hear from you as well. How have things been?
