On the banks at Bucksaw 5/3/11

They are on the banks at Bucksaw. On the water this morning at 8:00. Went a bit passed Cedar Creek and they were on the banks. Mostly males. Mix of shorts and keepers and a handful of females. Used black and chartreuse slab busters. Foot down. Try to find any cover on the water and they are there.

For you amateur fisherman out there that can only catch fish on the spawn like me, now is the time to go out. Good luck! It's a blast! I just wish I could learn how to catch fish so I can do this more than a few days a year when they are on the bank.

fished same area fishing is great. same pattern but used minnows under a cork.

Nice report,will be there thur night,pre fish fri,tour on sat...different kind of tournament..7 crappie/3 bass you can weigh in...this weekend should be a good one...
