I drove down yesterday and where you were standing in the picture is now under water,It looked like 5 ft of vertical water away from getting to the motel and has cameup 2 + ft last night. We have had 2 + in. of rain last night! Dog Creek parking lot is all underwater!! They were pumping the fuel tanks yesterday and filling with water to keep them from floating off. I will post pictures soon!

You can not get under it now. Docks are floating away that people have and they are trying to get some one with kayaks or canoes to get them. Its going to be a no spring fishing and stright into summer pattern I am afraid, but maybe a good spawn.

Water is overflowing into the spillway now. Local news says the corps of engineers will probably close Hwy 728 today. It crosses the dam and theyre afraid it will block that road. With chance of rain today and tomorrow it doesnt look good.

I left Nolin dam about an hour ago and the water is in the overflow..its just not past the slight hump in the middle..once it gos past that than it will run over hwy 728..I have lived in this area for 40 years and I never thought I would ever see the lake rise all the way up and go out the emergency overflow..this is a high elevation lake and it takes a tremendous amount of water to ever threaten it..this year it has..Bee
