    Default Kentucky Rig question

I have seen a couple versions of the Kentucky lake rig. One has dropper lines off the main line and one has hooks tied to the main line via palomar knots. I've seen some of Jim Duckworth's videos where he ties hooks directly to the main line. Which works the best? Would like some opinions. Thanks. CF

I like dropper lines because the minnow can be more active. Also, I get a better hookup ratio that way.

I tie mine directly to the line and use a 1/8 oz jig head for a bottom wieght tipped with a tube or some sort of grub! You get hung up more often but a lot of times that bottom jig will out fish the minnows!

When theres no current. You should get better hook set with no leader.
