Way to brave the weather and find a few. Congrats on the catch.
Thanks to you guys, I felt confident enough to go to Truman yesterday, even tho the weather was rotten....even tho it's been raining for a week...it was cold...
Even tho all of that.....I still felt good about going, and it paid off. We didn't tear anything up. We didn't catch any monsters, or even a lot of fish. But we came home with some fish, and today I cooked up a mess, and now I get to go to work and try to hide out while my belly shrinks back to a more normal size (normal for me, that is!)
I only went into Cedar Creek a ways and stayed in there most of the day, but we caught a bunch of small keepers....10-11". One or two a bit bigger. We never quite found the females holding back off the banks, but we did find the males holding several feet off the bank and about 5' down in 11-14 FOW. Caught a few on minnows, but most were on various jigs. I guess the best color was the electric chicken.
Thanks to you all!!

Sounds like a great day. Cedar Creek isn't a bad place to hide out from the weather.
That's what we is here for. Good job.

The point I was hoping to make, is that before, I would have seen 48 degrees outside, and I would have gone back to bed...I would have waited for that perfect, sunny day when the wind wasn't blowing and the water temp was 60. Before, I would have just given up...so I wanted to thank you guys!
Just keep readin and thankin folks. These are some great guys on here and will usually help a fella out.
