Anybody else get a little shower today?

I wanted a little water to be able to single-pole some buckbrush but this is rediculous. Heck I won't be able to reach the brushbrush after the lake has topped out.

Yesterday the predicted crest on Wappapello was 371 on wed. We got another 1.5 inches overnight and more to come the next couple of days. I would expect that prediction to rise a few more feet. I'm like talltimber, kinda wanted some water in the brush but not 10 ft. worth.

OK Barry, think it may be time to start on that Arc. If we get the 5in more rain they are predicting in the next 48hrs it's not gonna be pretty. Already had about 7in since tuesday. Not too good on all the new turkey eggs waiting to hatch either.

Updated crest is 382 on 4/27. Needs to stop raining soon!

382' is really getting up there for the Wapp. Glad I got a chance to turkey hunt(got a 24 lber) and crappie fish last Friday. We did some slow drifting and caught about 40 crappie out in the main lake. All in all a pretty darn good day.
