I see you are new! Welcome!!! Put in at Bucksaw, or Sparrowfoot, fish between the two. Fish any creek or deep cut, fish 10-14' deep in 10-20 FOW in front of spawning banks. Color has not mattered to us as long as we had a minner on it to. Lots using blk/char, blk/pnk, blue/white. Many catching fish without a minner to! I am sure there are other thoughts on this but this has been good to us! With the cold temps I don't look for it to change before Saturday! Hope this helps, and have fun with your dad while you can!!!!!!!!!

    Jerk,

You saying that this weather has pushed them back a bit? Stalled the spawn a tad?

bucksaw is a good place that puts you kinda in the middle of the grandriver arm and you can run up pretty easily and stay in channel fairly easily. running up from sparrowfoot can be kinda tricky if you don't know where you are going. supposed to be nice weather this weekend so good luck
What happens on the lake... makes for good stories at least
