What type of mono do you guys perfer to use? Im trying to find a brand that works well on spinning reels at 4-6 lb test. I have trouble with the line coiling of the spool when i release the bail to cast. Thanks for the advice and help.

Trilene without a doubt, but the key is how you put the line on and how much you put on, most all lines will coil if too much is on there.

Trilene XL green 6 lb. Watch how the line comes off the spool. One direction will twist the line, turn the spool over and it will go on smooth. I put the spool (of line) in a bowl of warm water and let it sit about 10 minutes before filling the reel under pressure. Above all, don't over fill the reel.
