That grassy area coming up out of the channel into shallow water looks very good.
This is an aerial photo of the back side of a reservoir I regularly fish. I am having a hard time finding spawning crappie. I have marked the channel. The bank on the lower left is a steep rocky bank and become shallow once the timber line starts. Back in the end of that cove is shallow and has a lot of grass and lily pads. The main area of timber is probably around 5-12 feet deep. The bank on the right is grassy towards the edge and has timber as well. Water temp around 56 degrees. Any tips would be appreciated since I'm pretty new to the crappie scene.

"Never Fry Bacon Naked"
Yeah I would find the grassy area around the 10ft - 5 ft mark and fish that. work my way in they will have to spawn soon, and I would make sure that I was there when they did.
