    Default Help... Knocked Half the skeg off of motor.


    I have yamaha vmax 150 that I knocked about half the skeg off of the motor today... Have any of you guys used the replacement bolt on skegs? I am not sure what to do to repair it...

    man with a boat like that you should have insurance if you do turn it in on your ins
    fishing from the couch in front of the tv doesnt count

    Not too bad to fix but not for the amateur. Take it to a good welder and they can fix you right up. If there is a person near you that works on props they will be the best to fix it. I have had 3 or 4 fixed in years passed and could not even tell it happened.
