    what do I do with them I'm in the mood to catch about 25 of the little devils I don't tie jigs but some one does tell me how to preserve the tails and you can have them

    Use Borax and salt on exposed done and let dry out.

    I've been told to just leave them out and let the ants clean them up for you. But remember that dogs love to use them as chew toys.

    Borax and/or salt on the exposed flesh and let them dry in a corner of the house or garage. Or you can split them, pull the bone out, scrape off any flesh, then salt or borax them.

    ive always heard not to split them, just dry them out. I would love to have some of them if you havent already given them to someone else

    With as little of the meat as possible use some Kosher salt and Borax on the tail where you cut it off and just hang it in your garage for a few days and it will dry and stop smelling. I have done that a good many time for the natural colors. Since I don die my own stuff I just buy that.

    got 4 in four days should get one a day except on days that I fish as the Wife won't handle them
