Arkansas question...
Was wondering if any of you have any experience around the Hot Springs area. We got offered a cabin for the end of March, first part of April and just starting some research.
We'll be in between Lake Ouachita and Nimrod. First thought was that I have to fish a lake called Nimrod.
From what I can tell Nimrod is the better slab lake, and Ouachita is very large and extremely clear. Great for stripers.
Anyone fished that area?

Spent a couple days down in Hot Springs on Lake Hamilton and Lake Greeson.........beautiful area. Might want to check the Arkansas State Forum and look up Jerry Blake and Darryl ? (forget his last name)...they both guide on the local lakes... those two lakes in particular hold some monster crappie.
Should be about the right time too.
