Default Oh Great a 7 day thraw-maybe trouble

So temperatures here in Northern IL to hit 36 degrees and to keep rising for next 7 days being in 40's all next week til fri then could hit 50 fri & Sat with rain. Our first real thaw since Nov., but you see we still have a base layer of 15-18 inches snow on ground all over northern 1/2 of Illinois and good portion of Indiana, Iowa & Wis. still has lots of snow. Where oh where is all this water going to go? Surely not in ground, our frostline is still some 40 inches down. Sure hope they got water levels in large reservoir lakes & such down to winter pool & less cause I bet somebody going to get lots of water.

Yea, been reading some about the predicted thaw. People living in low lying areas should be checking on their flood insurance and SOON!

Yep, should be flooding in the forecast real soon.
I know Evergreen was really low last fall, hopefully it fills to the top. I want to get back on teh water, soft water that is.

rocket, if you get that much water you better move your car port and your fish cleaning sink. as bad as it's leaning it will go down stream. looks like a person would have put it up straight to begin with. and the water will be near bouts over the window above the front door. and forget the dock. it will probably wind up down close to caruthersville, mo. be sure to take your little toy boat home to higher ground.
