Yes sir, they say our nation's symbol is making a come back. We are seeing more every winter and a few during the summer here in Arkansas.
If you can believe it or not we saw at least 50-75 eagles on the levy road in monroe county il, four to six in the trees just a slough of them on the ground. Never in my life would i have expected to see so many. My wife an i drove to grafton il last year and saw six.

I see several around here in ga every winter.
this thread is no good without pictures. go back and take them. you said it was only a couple of miles. walk if you have too. just go.
Check up around Louisianna area in the winter. I took this pic around the first of January last year or the year before. I counted forty that I could see. These are the closest to us. I misplaced my other pic of across the river, very impressive numbers.
I've been seeing a couple every morning here on Table Rock in Missouri.
most were on the ground but a bunch in the trees also , my son went back over around 345 and said there were only about 50 left..
I've seen a bunch going from KY into IN around Henderson. had to be close to 2 dozen in the trees. The river was mostly frozen and they looked hungry and lethargic. Seen Eagles several times in FL when I lived there, they are fantastic to watch. Sometimes you can get close but not often for me.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
See several here at Greers Ferry mostly in the Fall but some stay year round.

I spotted a couple of eagles while I was hiking around Degray Lake in Arkansas last weekend.
