    Exclamation Brookville Lake Crappie?

Anyone been crappie fishing. I am wanting to take my dad tomorrow, Friday.
He loves to fish for crappie. Not looking for any particular area of the lake,
just how deep are they in how deep of water, in creeks?
    Thanks,
    Bassky

    Question Brookville Crappie this week?

My dad and I are planning an afternoon trip this week.
Does anyone have a report to help put us on some fish?
Depth, specific creeks, etc. any info would be helpful.
My dad is 76 years old and we used to fish there when I
was a teenager. Haven't crappie fished there in 25 years,
don't have a clue where to start.
    Thanks,
    Bassky

Bassky, I haven't been to Brookville this year due to health reasons but maybe I can get you started. Try Templeton Creek and start in the deep
standing timber and then work to the shallower ones. Also there are several downed trees in Templeton that you can work the tree tops and usually find some. Then across the lake in Wolf Creek the same in the standing timber.
You may be a little late for the spawn. But they spawn way back in Wolf
creek on the right side going back in. If you stop at Garr Hill Bait shop on the east side of the lake, Lewis (owner) can give you some tips or maybe a guy who camps there all summer (Ed) can tell you how deep they are. We usually have our best luck with minnows fishing 15' to 20' deep water. If you go post and let us know how it was. Hope this helps.
    Good luck

Crappie shoud be spawning this week. The shallows in templeton and wolf creeks should be super hot. Monday was unbelieveable. Water temp was 64* and fish were piling up on structure on breaks very close to spawning areas
