    Default Almost three weeks

and no fishing for me, have not said anything before, but I took a pretty bad fall in the garage, messed up my shoulder and leg and knee, first week couldnt go without the double crutch thing, now 3 weeks later and all is healed up and working pretty good, one crutch and no more pain, Neighbour and me got the boat back together, weather is looking like crap, but me and the boat are sittin on ready,

been reading JR's and pole benders post and got me to wanting to hit the open big water on stockton, ahhhhah. deep crappie, bet there are some big one waiting for me. hope so .

just looked up and couple snow flakes floating down, crap. took this down time to clean rods/reels, tackle box, clean up buzzys nibbles ground into the carpet, Darrells too. found lots of grime in the inside of the reels.

got me some new oil and a dab of grease on the reels, gettin the loose jigs cleaned up and back in packaged, drop or two of garlic oil and ready to go. ..sharon can not stand that garlic stuff, man it stinks. but it works.

You'll get em soon Beagle. At least this way you give them a little more time to fatten up.

Glad to hear you are getting over your fall. I haven't been fishing for a couple weeks now myself. Unlike you, I have done none of that stuff that needs to be done to my reels or tackle. Oh well, there's always this week.
    Take care, Michael.

I have a half sanded trailer, really need to gain some inspiration from Beagle to finish it, and get it primed.

You're a tough old buzzard, Beagle. I know you'll bounce back. I sure hope you didn't crack the concrete.

Glad you're getting better! Did you ever find your Andys ? Warmer weather will be here before you know it!!!! I just went and bought some stuff for tying jigs, so I'll try my own crappie jigs this year. I'm sick of the cold also!
