Nice day at Truman with Bwilaub (and my first Truman limit)

Bob and I launched at Windsor crossing this morning and broke up a bunch of 1" ice on the way into brush creek. We didn't have to cover much area today to get our limits using his Junebug and chart paddle tales for the most part.
I finally got to slide all 15 beads on my counter!! and a few more would be keepers by about noon.
It was a beautiful day, wind was nearly 0 most of the morning.
We said hello to Kit and auggiedog (Hi Bruce, we haven't met). There was probably 6 boats in the same cove with us and seemed they all were doing as well too.
Thanks again Bob, I'm glad we could get out one more time this year.

Pure decidation guys, I left my heater down there wed, but it don't look like it helped any.........hope old stump wasn't duck hunting you would be picking up bb's out of your boat............I visited with kit at the ramp when he loaded out and he had some nice looking fish..........they got great color coming out of that clearer and cold water........

It was great to see you guys on the water today. Rugmes we"ll get to chat some time out there. When you fish with Bob the crappies are definately in trouble. We ended up getting our about and hr after you guys left. I hope the water stays open for a bit longer. Its sure been fun.

It was a pleasure, Quinn. I'm glad I was there for your first Truman Limit. Nice seeing Bruce & the boys and Greg and his Dad also. Gonna have to talk more next time.
