Nice catch WTG.
I found your depths very very interesting. In looking for info on how to fish Truman I was given info from the ol Chattester which was backed up by other reputable Truman fishers that the fish are usually caught no deeper than 12 ft deep. That info didn't quite jive with my own experiences in fishing other lakes like Hillsdale or Melvern where I've caught some good fish by fishing 18 to 30 ft deep at different times.
I saw that info as somewhat a possibly as a challenge for me to someday, after fishing Truman, and of getting to post some good catch reports from there and being able to say I had caught them much deeper than 12 ft. In my last and second recent venture to Truman my catches were all under 12 ft and I did try some deeper depths when marking fish but didn't stay with the deeper depth very long since we were catching them shallower. With your report I'll now have more confidence in maybe being able to catch fish over there at some of the depths I catch fish over here.
I have really appreciated the info received from the MO fisher folks in the past and I hope this posting doesn't clam up the good MO fishers that have previously supplied me with info on how to fish Truman in the past since I'm certainly planning on getting more experience over there in the future.
