A guy that I work with knows the lady that caught them, she wont even tell him. She has tight lips about where she caught them. Cant really blame her, I would be also if it was me.

It could be Mozingo just east of Maryville i have not fished it but heard alot of good things about it. It is a fairly new lake hope to get up there this year.Jim C.
A friend of my cousin says it was Hazel Creek Lake. But I never trust my cousin to tell the truth. Might have caught them in a farm pond!
Don't know what lake they were caught out of and we probably never will. And as TEA said if I found out I'd probably keep it hush hush...izzy
I don't think it was Mozingo. I have fished it since 96 and just live 6 miles from boat ramp. With all the cover in this Lake there should be alot of big Crappie, we caught 10" to 12" Crappie in 98. I'm not a pro by no means and I just fish with 1 pole and have caught no Crappie over 13 1/2". They are probably there but they are evading me.
I would have to say a private pond or lake. My grandpa had afriend with a lake like that years ago. They are both gone now though
I was told it was a public lake, but that was it.
