OK Ok, what are shrimp lights???? I use floating crappie lights (one on each side of the boat) and to get the bugs to start coming in, I will tie one short (half way to the water) to get more light visible for the bugs, then lower it to the water when they start to appear......but have never heard of shrimp lights.
A gun in hand is a lot better than a cop on the phone.
shrimp lights are just lights in the water so you can see shrimp and dip them up with a net. Do you catch many specks around your lights?
shrimp light are submercible light that go in water-shrimpys come to the light and you scoopm up with shrimp net-although i prefer a box net

Yes, some of the best crappie fishing you will have will be at night with lights..and you won't be bothered with a hundred boats around you..:D

I have a floating light I recently purchased...Have only used it once, but I only stayed out about 2hrs. It did draw in some small organisms(Plankton?) and a few minnows, but I goose-egged that night.
