I don't think anyone enjoys having to resort to it, but been there done that. And yes they provide a quick attitude adjustment.
Guess what . Had to break down and buy a no barking collar from cabella's. Man does it do the trick . We have a 6 month old male yorkie and he does know how to drive you up wall. No more of that . 2 shocks and he as mild as a dead crappie. Even got a military discount

after a while, wont even have to have batteries, just the notion of something around their neck keeps 'em quiet.
GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
Man, that's great news. Been considering getting one of those things for my wife!!! :D
I have had 4 Labs. 2 blacks and 2 Choclates. None have ever been barkers. Owning a small dog is where the problem lies. I prefer to use my foot or hand to address the problem. Lot cheaper. There is nothing more annoying than a dog that has a barking problem. Dogs are going to bark, it's in there nature but, non stop barking is a dog that has No respect for his master.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
Heard the good and bad, for and against but with my lab never needed one. When we first adopted her it was 2 1/2 years before we ever heard her bark and then only when someone comes to the door or she sees another dog and then we just tell her to stop and she does.
